HOW TO SPECIAL ORDER STAIRWAY PANELS
Stairway panels can be special ordered.
Ordering Steps:
- Obtain exact measurements of the overall Rise and Run. Refer to diagram and "Tips" below.
- Fax precise measurements (a sketch diagram is also helpful) to Stinson Technologies Ltd. at (780) 440-2189. If additional assistance is required please call us at (780) 440-5178.
- Using these measurements Stinson Technologies Ltd. will fax back a dimensioned scale diagram, which the customer must sign for final approval. Pricing details will be included.
Tips on taking measurements:
Determine how high the panels will sit above landing floor and stairway stringer (This example assumes 1 inch). See attached drawing.
- Snap a level chalk line 1-inch above floor of both landings (line 1 and 2). Snap another line 1-inch above and parallel to the stair stringer (line 3). The intersections of these lines are critical for measurements.
- Where lines 2 and 3 intersect (Point A) plumb a line up to line 1. (line 4)
- To determine the RUN, record the distance between Point C (intersection of lines 1 and 3) and Point B (intersection of lines 1 and 4).
- To determine the RISE, record the distance between Point A (intersection of lines 2 and 3) and Point B (intersection of lines 1 and 4).
Stinson Technologies guarantees the panels to conform to the dimensions of the scale diagram. We accept no responsibility if the panels fail to fit the walls.
